All Sleep Inns I have stayed at are nice and modern. I always read the reviews and ratings of hotels before I make reservation, and this was rated the highest out of all Choice Hotels in Hattiesburg. However, I do not understand how this can be. When my party of two arrived, we both agreed that this hotel is outdated, and you can smell it's foul odor when you approach the hallways all the way to your room. I had a reservation for Tuesday, June 13. After checking in, the hallway and our room smelled really musty. Our room was well-cooled when we entered and all the necessary toiletries were stocked. However, there was rust on the light fixtures in the bathroom, the quality of the sheets were super thin and lightly yellowish/discolored, and the comforter on top of the bed had a 3" hole in it. To top it off, I found 4 hairs in our king sized bed. That was it-- we couldn't handle the disgust anymore. We went downstairs and explained the dirty sheets we found and asked for another room, which we received. As for the new room, it had the same lacking qualities as an outdated room. Nothing great about it. For the price, what can I expect. I will not be back. I highly recommend inspecting what you plan to sleep in for the next 8 hours if you plan to stay at this hotel.
We would have loved to try the awesome indoor pool, outside gazebo area and fitness center had we stayed longer, but we had places to go.

The halls smelled musty, my son sat in the chair in the room and it broke causing him to fall over backwards. I went to set the alarm clock and when I lifted it up, there was sticky stuff under it with pubic hair in it. I call the front desk. They said OK. Nothing was done.
Great Place to stay always my first option, when in Hattiesburg.
Even though we weren't able to stay long, we LOVED this hotel. Excellent beds, great AC and all the basics you come to expect from a hotel that would cost you $20-$30 more. The breakfast was a full, hot breakfast, as much as you can eat and well supervised. The attendant was out every 5 minutes to make sure everything was good to go. Excellent, friendly staff - even the cleaning crew (Monica) was helpful - our room had been cleaned immaculate and smelled so nice when we first got there.
