I stayed at the Red Lion inn in Hattiesburg for 5 nights. Overall a fantastic stay. Hot breakfast in the morning. The breakfast staff wished me a good breakfast and good morning every day. The lady at the front desk was very nice. Good location in Hattiesburg. I would stay here again if I am back in the area!
This place is a pleasant surprise. The facilities are taken care of and kept clean and neat. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient just off the interstate. Rooms were spacious and clean. I did not find any issues with our room. Breakfast is pretty standard continental fair. I would certainly stay here again. The worst thing I can say is that the was no coffee maker in the room but they do provide a complimentary bottle of water. An added perk is that they have complimentary bicycles you can check out.
The rooms are nice. Bathroom is a little small to be giving myself plus 2 kids a bath. And for the price of the rooms, you would expect something a little nicer I guess. Only issue I’ve really had was upon check in. Guy was in the process of checking us in and answers the phone. Instead of asking that customer to please hold and let him finish with the customer in front of him, he chose the phone customer first! Seemed kind of rude to me! Other than that, our stay has been very pleasant!!
My wife and I came in on a weekend with a home football game for USM, without a reservation, and had a pet with us. I didn't realize there was a game. Thankfully Josh and and Lauren, who were at the desk were great and were able to get us a room. Room was clean and comfortable and that's all we needed. We didn't check out breakfast but hey, free is free so if it's a bagel or some fruit I would count that as a plus. All and all I'm pleased with my service and thankful for Josh and Lauren that hooked us up
Beds and pillows were heavenly. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The staff wss courteous and very helpful. Cashier 1239 don't remember his name, Lauren, BJ and Jason at breakfast were awesome. Great Job guys. Happy Holidays
