This place I s awsome would eat there every time I come to Hattiesburg. All fresh vegetables, delicious ham and ribs. Real food and affordable at $14.00.
Don't waste your time or money.
Most of the food is good, with a few let downs. Gumbo is tasty, but the stars of the show here is the smoked ribs and beef brisket!!! Delicious!! It's at its own little bar and the waitresses will cut it off for you. Varieties of meats, shrimp, veggies, salad bar and desserts. Even a picky person should find something they really like. If you like smoked meats, just going for the ribs and brisket will be well worth the $13 charge. And that includes drink and tax!

Yeast rolls were a day old.
Service was pleasant but the ribs weren't done and the brisket was greasy and cold.
On 10/12 my wife and I went for catfish. They didn't have fish of any kind. The only thing they had was fried oysters.
Best fried Oysters in Hattiesburg, Ms, you gotta try them, they have other delicious food but the oysters are my favorite. Enjoy
The catfish and shrimp were good, the strawberries and banana mix was also yummy. Didn't try the salad and pasta bar. The desserts were good, they also have a soft serve machine with very sweet vanilla but no sugar cones. The ham was okay for ham.
The rolls were tougher than hard tack from the war days. The brisket was good if not a little dry. The ribs were dry and disappointing. The restroom was dimly lit and really needs work.
Our waitress was super nice and kept the drinks filled.
I would rate this place as okay. It was $20 a person that included drinks. They charge you up front for the meal.
