In the fire place. The Nostalgia is worth eating there in itself.. with all the old signs and the old farm implements of yesteryears it's like a step back in time. And the delicious foods and desserts and it makes for a good memory every time you go. Not to mention even being able to browse in the store part of the restaurant so many unique ideas and always good sales.. it's always an evening well spent!
Mostly, Cracker Barrel is a dependable chain for great food at a great price. Lately, the coffee is so weak it tastes like hot water. This particular store today was running behind on a few things. No spoons in the rolled napkin, nor did the server bring one when I ordered coffee or with the grits and gravy---hello? They brought my and my husband's food out (his entre did not include biscuits) and he had finished his meal by the time they brought the biscuits out that came with my order. When you are eating a breakfast meal at 9:30am that is served with grits and gravy, it's not too much to expect the biscuits so you can enjoy the gravy before it gets cold. When you're a coffee drinker the last thing you want is a cup that tastes like hot water. The server did apologize and made a fresh pot that was good. I hope Cracker Barrel will strive to maintain their quality and consistency at their stores. We travel a lot in the southeast, I'm definitely seeing it slip, mostly in their coffee. We will continue eating at the Cracker Barrel and will post our views in hopes of inspiring greatness in all Cracker Barrel stores across the US. Lastly, my husband really enjoyed his breakfast sandwich with the ham and bacon and side of hash browns which is a new offering.
It is wonderful when the weather is cold enough to have a real roaring fire
I love the food here so much! Comfort food at it's best! The store in the front is always the best part of coming to Cracker Barrel to me. Especially during the Christmas holiday season... Their merchandise and decorations are something to be in awe of. Beautiful!
Good food. Family frendly. Clean & well kept. Restrooms clean. Great service & Staff. Good parking area & wheelchair addressable.
Arrived at a good time. Was seated quickly. The waitress was new but tried really hard to satisfy us. Her area was pretty busy and she did her best to keep up.
