My husband and I went to find a refrigerator to put on layaway while our house is being built. When we asked if they would price match they said they would. We were checking the specs and turns out it was not the same supposed by .5 cubic feet. When my husband and I searched the same refrigerator online, the same model was discontinued at Lowe’s and Home Depot. They were trying to sell this same refrigerator for over 1,900 dollars. The brand new version of this same refrigerator is 1,699 at all other big box chains. They were so unwilling to work with us that I just never want to step foot back in this store.
Sears has decent discounts on products each week with dropped sale prices , but lack sales associates in each department resulting in slower checkout time.
I bought a refrigerator. They said they would take the old one and install the water for the ice maker. They did not. Had to haggle with them to carry my old fridge to the curb. Signed up for a Sears card, never received card despite multiple request.
They are friendly and helpful along with good sales
Not the first choice of places I'd choose to shop at.
