I have purchased cycling shoes, clip in pedals, bike computer, helmet, a tire, a tube repair kit, tire tubes, and water bottles from Moore's. Installation was provided for each accessory that needed it and they fitted me to my bike at the time of purchase and again after I purchased the cycling shoes and clip in pedals. They have answered every panicked question that I could come up with after researching my bike on the internet and I have gotten tons of bike related information just by chatting with them while visiting the shop.
All of the previous dealers said, bring it in sometimes 30 to 45 days from now and we can tune it up for you. Moore's bike shop said, bring it in every 30 days for 3 months and we will tune it up and make sure it's running okay. Price and bikes being the same at each location, service is what sold me. I never went to the other bike shop in Hattiesburg.
While I am not sure that they know my name, they do know my face and they always ask how I am coming along with my bike each time I go there. I do recommend this shop to everyone, at least talk to them before you decide. That won't cost you anything and you may be glad you did.
Wonderful service from friendly people! They bent over backwards to help me who is new to the bike world. The young lady who helped us was very patient and kind. Mr. Moore stayed late to put my bike together so I could take it home today. They reviewed all the features and safety instructions with me in detail. We had shopped at their competitors across town and they were terrible. If you need a bike I highly recommend Moore's Bike Shop!
I went to 4 bike shops around Jackson, Flowood, and Ridgeland before I went to Hattiesburg to visit 2 dealers there. By chance, I went to Moore's bike shop first. The one question I had asked each dealer, that kept me going to the next bike shop was, what happens after I make the purchase.
Moore's has been awesome for me every time I've been there. The staff have been helpful and talked me through expected wait times for repairs and breakdown of the involved costs. All my repairs including a derailer replacement when I ripped the old one in half by accident have been quick and affordable.
I bought my first bike from Moore's in January and have been in for routine maintenance several times since then. I could not be more pleased with my experiences. I have always received prompt service, but it goes beyond just that. Every sales person and mechanic I have interacted with has been more than willing to answer my questions and explain things in detail. I recommend Moore's to all of my friends who are interested in cycling.
