Flint Creek in Wiggins MS is a beautiful place to enjoy spending time with friends and family! The people that are managing the grounds are not worth dealing with! Called to ask about prices per night and was told 12$ a night for primate camping ..... go to check out and was informed that I had to pay an extra $24 for my horses. When I asked why I wasn't told that when I called he replied "I'm telling you now"! He made a smart remark that we needed to get our phone out and take a picture of the rules because that how thing go and how to check in ! We had to chase him across the park area with a gooseneck trailer among all the polo horses and trailers because when he was called he sent word we had to come to him. Not to mention one of our horses got hurt on the trail that had a mushy mud hole and the management was more worried about us checking in instead of the well being of our horse and rider. One of the polo horses died on the field and he had the vet free of charge dig a hole and bury the horse. That is very unprofessional and diresepctful to all involved. The management does not do professional business! Russell Ryals was a very rude person. He was rude to the children riding also.
FIRST OF ALL WE HAVE CAMPED AT MAYNOR Creek over 40 years & the last 3 yrs when we have rented cabins ,there has been some kind of Drama.This weekend we rented 2 cabins & they weren't close together .we had a crawfish boil OUTSIDE of cabin #3,there were 14 adults ,2 babies & 2 -8 yrs old ,we Did not go into the cabin all the same time. PATTY BOND WAS VERY RUDE TO MY DAUGHTER AMANDA DELK,YELLING AT HER ABOUT THE 20 PEOPLE ,WE DIDNT BECAUSE THE KIDS DIDNT COUNT.I HAD 2 FRIENDS TO COME OVER ,& THEY TOLD THEM THEY COULDNT COME OVER THERE ,SHAWN DELK GRAHAM HAD RENTED CABIN #6 THIS ISNT THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH HER I HAD RESERVED A CAMPSITE IN 2016 IN THE FALL 7DAYS IN ADVANCE,ONE OF MY SISTER N LAWS DIED 2 DAYS BEFORE WE WERE TO BE THERE ,I CALLED TO CANCEL,YOU WOULD HAVE BELIEVED I HAD BROKE SOMTHING . SHE TOLD ME IF I WANTED TO CAMP THERE AGAIN ,I HAD BETTER MAKE MY RESERVATIONS 2 WEEKS EARLY,BECAUSE I HAD TO CANCEL A VERY POPULAR SITE .WE HAVE BEEN TO ALL YOUR LAKES CAMPING & never been treated like that .......
I highly recommend finding another park for your horse riding and family gather before going to this place.
