I have had nothing but great experiences at Carroll Jewelry Co! They worked on my dad's Rolex, and I knew it was in great hands! They completed the job in a timely manner, and it was a very reasonable price! If you have any jewelry or watches that need repair, you need to go to them!
My husband has bought a few pieces of jewelry for me over the years from this business. I recently paid them a visit to ask advice regarding how much I might ask if I want to sell a piece of jewelry which was purchased at Carroll's. The college student who was working out front was very nice and she kept delivering messages back and forth to an "unseen" party in the back. First message was, "We don't buy back our merchandise. You should try Craig's List." Then I re-explained that I wasn't asking for a buy back, but just needed a starting point of what to ask. Then the message from the "man in the back" was that I should ask "About have what you GAVE for it". I explained to the sweet girl that it was a gift and I don't know what was "GIVEN" for it. Finally, the man allowed an interruption to his very busy day (noted buy the lack of cars in the parking lot and lack of customers in the store). He came out, pretty much informed me that the piece didn't come from them because it didn't have their stamp on it. (I still have the box from Carroll's!). Then he told me that to come up with a price would take him about 3 hours and it would involve cleaning the piece. Since this guy is not a gemologist and doesn't want to help me, I went to Lights Jewelry (a large, busy store) where there is the nicest man who is a gemologist. He was so happy to help me and spent time with me. THANKS LIGHTS JEWELERS!
Carroll is the only jeweler in Hattiesburg I trust with my needs. They repaired a family heirloom watch and helped me through choosing and purchasing an engagement ring for my fiancé. I knew that such important items were in good hands. My fiancé and I will be purchasing our wedding bands there soon, and we know they'll be great. Even though I no longer live in Hattiesburg, the trip is worth it for the quality.
