Was just rejected to buy alochol with my very real ID. I️ understand that not fully knowing my old address can seem suspicious, but they should also have a scanner that verifies the authenticity of drivers licenses. The cashier was very rude and handled the situation very immaturely. He asked if I️ had an in-state ID, to which I️ said “No, I’m from Florida and visiting for Thanksgiving.” He then said he said could call the police to come and get my ID since that was protocol. I️ asked him to go ahead but I️ guess that was too much effort because he told me no and that he would not be selling to me. But it’s all good, I️ went across the street, got my case of beer, and shared a good laugh with the lady over the ridiculous experience I️ just had.
